[Installing DIY LED Strip Lights on Speakers]
MUSIC being a dose to almost every soul out there, comes with the love for how its delivered. This is where SPEAKERS chip in. The COOL stuff here is that we can we can actually SEE and PERCEIVE how the beats are produced by the speaker.. Now that’s the FUN part.
LED strip lights common in adverts on billboards and entrances of hotels and pubs among other places will just do the job. And i will guide you through the INSTALLATION to make them BLOOM in conjunction with the beats in your music.
WHAT YOU NEED:
~A 12v DC LED strip of considerable length, say long enough to go round the walls of your speaker(s).
~Soldering torch and a few inches of solder
~A few inches of positive negative speaker wire
~And of course above all a speaker in good condition
The SKILL of soldering using a soldering torch will come in handy in the installation process.
FIRST you will soldier the positive terminal of the LED strip to the positive terminal of the speaker wire(after stripping it)
SECOND you will do the same for the NEGATIVE terminal of the LED strip to the NEGATIVE terminal of the speaker wire(after stripping it)
So far so good.
The same procedure recurs only that this time you will solder the other end of the POSITIVE speaker wire to the POSITIVE terminal of the speaker and the other end of the NEGATIVE speaker wire to the NEGATIVE terminal of the speaker.
Congratulations! All set and done ready for testing.
For the ultimate test, play some music and tune up the volume to see the magic.
The LED strips will light according the the colour allocation of the lighting diodes.
The same will be applied for any speaker be it a subwoofer or a midrange speaker.
